I came across this album today and I am astounded. Some of the most beautiful piano based music I've heard in years. The first track "Yours" has a soft rising and falling melody that almost coincides with a resting inhale and exhale. "For Always" is a very excitable composition. It's soft yet driving, If that's even a thing. The title composition "Rising" goes in and out from darker to uplifting. Not quite usuable for a wedding ceremony in my opinion, however a great listen. My favorite track of the album, "Daybreak" is nothing less than captivating. While "Relentless" takes us on a much darker/heavier journey, it is immediately countered with two lighter, pop styled tracks: "Everything" and "I'm OK". "Turning Point" has a suspenseful feel leaving you wondering whether or not the protagonist will make it in time? I can see a beautiful bride in her princess dress on one of the most memorable days of her life, just inches from walking down the isle in "Looking Up At The Sky". "Beyond" is one of those BIG orchestral compositions that I would love to see live. It's one of those suspensful melodies, that are quite riveting, but you just know everything will be ok. The album closes with a possibly tearful romantic piece, "Turning Off The Noise". In the last song I see a young couple laying on a blanket, holding hands, and looking up at the clouds all while their heads are in the clouds. Absolutely phenomenal album!
